Fender Bass VI (1961)
The Fender Basses VI. A six-string, also well named bariton-bass, was introduced in 1961. The guitar sounds one octave lower than an usual guitar. In 1963 there were added a muffler and a fourth tone selector. There were between 1961 and 1970 only 700 until 800 produced. These days copied and re-released specimens are available.
